Love Nature, Love Yourself

I am a Nature Lover. I would never say NO when it comes to Nature.

I find beauty in every small thing that the nature has to offer. It can be Rain, Sun rise, Sun set, Mist, Fog, Snow etc., You name it, I love it.

Nature has always given much more than what we wanted without expecting anything in return. On the other hand, it was really saddening to see that most of us do not appreciate the real beauty of it but to abuse them to the maximum extent possible which we realize only when Nature starts showing its other face in the name of Typhoon, Tsunami, Earthquake, Floods, Drought etc to name a few.

Gone are the days where the elders use to predict natural disaster by just looking at the things surrounding them which included stars, climate etc but these days even after having so much of technology,we still cannot predict most of the natural disasters accurately. Let us not go deep into it but see how we can appreciate and embrace it.

For me,I love people as well as equally to that of nature. When the man power has joined hands, it can create real wonders. Yes, I agree that we cannot completely ignore technology but at the same time, we can be away from it for a while on a daily basis creating some useful conversations around us.

If you ask me, what I would like to take it up as an activity, I would say even without slightest hesitation “Tapping Rain Water”. Yes. You heard it right. Having born and brought up in the Metro, I have seen the difficulties of sourcing water and the precious quotient attached to it.

Since we all live in big apartments, it is always good to have people get together and set up “Rain Water Harvest” system in our place which would not only help us in tapping the abundant natural resource which is available free of cost but at the same time, we can beat the dropping ground water level effectively. This will increase the ground water level which means we may hardly face drought but on the other hand, if we do not start saving now, we may face tough times in the coming days for sure.

This is not an activity which will go on forever but once this is complete, we can even enjoy the days when it rains, though scarce by getting drenched in the rain and also capturing them on the buckets and encouraging kids to do paper boats and make them float on it. I am sure, you are now going back to your childhood memories 🙂
